House of Zamper grew out of something simple: a home we love. For six years our family, Vinícius, Isabelle and our daughter Amélie, have lived in Waal, cared for it, and kept it beautifully in order. What began as our own front door has, quite naturally, become a small family business.
Our Story
Six years at Waal
We didn’t set out to build a hospitality brand. We set out to make a good home, and then to look after it properly. Over six years living here we have restored, updated and refined Waal room by room, with an eye for craft and a respect for the building’s history.
Everything inside has been chosen and cared for rather than staged. House of Zamper is simply the name we give to that care. Waal is our flagship: the home we know best, and the one we most want to share well.
Meet Your Hosts
Isabelle & Vinícius
Isabelle and Vinícius are your hosts. Isabelle, an artist and entrepreneur with a deep instinct for design, shaped Waal from the kitchen itself down to the smallest accessory: the finishes, the objects, the way the light is meant to fall. Vinícius works alongside her on everything that keeps a stay running smoothly. Isabelle is your main point of contact, looking after your stay personally from first message to farewell.
Many of the pieces on the walls carry a story; you need only ask, and she will happily tell you the one behind each.
We are Airbnb Superhosts, with years of hosting behind us and a feel for what makes a stay effortless. With Waal, our flagship, we wanted to take that experience somewhere quieter and more considered: direct, personal, and on our own terms.
